Messages to the Body

May 29, 2026

Being objectified. Objectifying the self. What does this mean? In my work it means to separate or to assign a particular value. To dissociate. To leave the body. Why is this dangerous? If we are not connected to our bodies we are numb. We are forgetful, we grow tired, because we are disconnected. The body is often called a temple because it is home. Objectification vs. Unified Integration. When we do not see ourselves as separate... from ourselves, another, others, the ground below us, the sky above, the horizon on the peripheral. We can extend and receive and give in an exchange of energy. If you look all around you, to the creation of the natural world, no one is left out. Each piece of the puzzle is needed to complete the picture.

Unified integration is remembering we all share common ground. We are resourced from outside of our own source, and intricately dependent upon one another for our survival. When we appreciate each other, we gain energy momentum. If we materialistically objectify, we don’t even have to speak to one another to get our needs met. This seems to be the deconstruction of ourselves as we gain in a civilized society. We depend more and more upon apps and self-checkout machines than we do on each other. There become gaps in our ability or perceived need to socialize, to relate and connect. We risk losing our empathy and compassion. Our ability to offer the considerable care that we desire in return, and by deviating from the golden mean, this golden rule of do unto others as we would have done to ourselves. In my hometown, and all around the more rural parts of the state, people wave. They wave to another car passing by, and I wave back. We wave. It doesn’t matter how we vote politically, we are polite and courteous. Neither one of us wants to be caught in a snowstorm or with a flat tire on the side of the road without the help and support of one another. So we keep the peace and lend a neighbor a helping hand. We all know we might need each other to weather the storm. This was a while back, and it is in these times, neighborly love needs revived.

We look to how we connect, how we link and how streamlined, congruent and harmonized our frequencies can become together... How tight is our circle? How well woven is our web? We are only as great as our weakest links. Mending the break in the chain determines how great we are able to become, as individuals and as a society. What does this mean on our own land and in our own bodies? This internal landscape that is as intentional as we are willing and able to make time and space for? What are our priorities? Think globally, act locally.

You have an entire whole system right here, where you are, it’s you. How well are you functioning? How are you doing? When we take the time to fortify our weaknesses, by building support systems, and nurturing ourselves in our breaks, by removing the blocks... we can reach potentials that were previously unimaginable. The stepping stones become our habits, which come from our subconscious, mostly emotionally based system of our minds. We need harmony in our different realms. We need to spend the time it takes consciously breathing, moving with intention and being in touch with deeper parts of ourselves.

In our bodies we want pliable, hydrated, luscious miniature ecosystems, as is reflected in the pristine natural world. If things are well organized, the boundaries of each structure are well established. The gates are up... And... there is clear passage for nutrients, oxygen, carbon dioxide and wastes to go in and out. That is what a cell needs, and what joint capsules and their synovial membranes need. Each structure in the body needs to know itself, and what it is not—boundaries. We want our tissues, as we are made mostly of water, to be able to properly hydrate and have the most benefit from the building blocks rich in nutrients. We also need permeability of membranes that tend and mend to restore our cells. I'm speaking into the boundary of the cell wall and all of the membranes within us, each permeated by the ocean of liquids that penetrate the layers of fascia by way of osmosis.

Osmosis is the process by which water molecules pass through a semipermeable membrane from an area of high water concentration to an area of low water concentration. The word osmosis comes from the Greek word osmos, which means "push." Osmosis occurs because water molecules spontaneously move to equalize the solute concentrations on either side of the membrane. Osmosis is happening in our body. Our waters move within us, passing through boundaries to cleanse, heal and regenerate us. Our parts are merging and informing again and again with the different parts of ourselves. And what is the message that we want passed on?

Send a message of gratitude to your body. I am holding a vision with you, and hold space for you to feel and sense what it feels like to be connected and loving to your body. To feel your center and your wholeness. To feel within you a sense of support, connection, familiarity, openness, resourcefulness, presence, kindness, love, caring, sharing, expansiveness, reaching out, alignment, organization, integrity, hope, optimism, rootedness, strength, solidity, holding positive force and protecting what is sacred, heart-centered, affirming, reverent, honoring and honored. I hold you in high regard. Centered, grounded, aligned and rising.

I have clients who heal from chronic debilitating pain. I watch people all day, every day heal from diagnoses and conditions with Myofascial Release. I had a client who was barely able to walk when she came in. I worked with her over months and she is able to walk without a cane, she is resuming her yoga practice, she is able to walk at a fast pace and getting back to work in her garden. You don’t have to stay in chronic pain, and you shouldn’t. Transformation and change is possible. Multiple clients with migraines are recovering after decades. I had a health care practitioner come in and he said that his patients were talking about me, and then went back to talk to some colleagues and they had also heard great things. Then they heard from a client of mine and each one of them said, "Yes, come see her, she can help you." Best positive referral ever. Thank you!
